For this week’s Assignment, you will create an Annotated Bibliography to evaluate the brain research involving language development. You can use the Unit_2_Annotated_Bibliography_Template.docx template in Course Documents to complete this Assignment. If you need additional information on writing an Annotated Bibliography, visit the Writing Center.

Your Annotated Bibliography will evaluate three articles.

For the first article, you will use the Early Language Acquisition article by Dr. Kuhl. In addition to the summary, this paragraph will contain an evaluation of the strengths and weaknesses of this research. Finally, provide a comprehensive description of the research and the significance of the data.

Kuhl, P. K. (2004). Early language acquisition: cracking the speech code. Nature Reviews Neuroscience, 5(11), 831 –843.

You will need to look for two additional articles that discuss the research on the brain and language development. It should not be another article from Dr. Kuhl’s work. However, in both articles, you will need to summarize the sources and provide an evaluation of the strengths and weaknesses of the research discussed in both articles. You should provide a comprehensive description of the research and significance of the data from each article.
