Can you help me with this assignment?

We’ve reached the halfway point for the semester, and after this week will be switching gears from fiction to poetry.

For our Week 8 discussion, I’m asking you to think about all of the fiction we have read this semester and comment on your reactions to what we’ve read. Consider answering one or more of the following questions (you do not need to answer all of these questions):

• What have you personally enjoyed about these stories? Are there characters, quotes, or moments from the stories that stood out to you as being memorable, and why?
• Most of the fiction we have read has been written within the last 20 years–the oldest piece we read was from 1966. Do you prefer more contemporary fiction, like we have been reading? Were you hoping to read some older pieces from the 18th or 19th centuries? Why or why not?
• Did any of the stories surprise you? It could be an unexpected ending, odd detail, strange character, or unusual format that stood out to you as unexpected.
• If you had the chance to rewrite the ending to one of the stories we’ve read this semester, what would you change, and why? If any of these stories had a sequel or epilogue, what do you think or hope would happen next, and why?
