Mini Case Study 2: You Are a Health Care Marketing Manager

As marketing manager of a leading health care organization, you are developing a marketing strategy to inform potential patients about how you provide the best patient experience. As part of your strategy, you will use the 4 Ps of marketing. Define the 4 Ps and describe how you will use each to promote your organization and build your patient base.

Mini-Case Analysis Rubric

Your grade will be based on the following rubric:

90–100

Student clearly displays superior understanding of the course concepts important to the case and conveys this understanding through a professionally prepared written report. Student emphasizes critical thinking skills and uses case and other academic sources to defend responses or provide counterarguments.

80–89

Student displays above-average understanding of the course concepts and demonstrates most of the above, but may be slightly off-track or weak in one of the content areas or written requirements.

70–79

Student displays average understanding of the course concepts and demonstrates most of the above, but may be slightly off-track or weak in two of the content areas or written requirements.

60–69

Student displays below-average understanding of the course concepts and demonstrates only some of the above; is off-track in at least one of the content areas and is weak or noncompliant with one of the written requirements.

50–59

Student displays minimal understanding of the course concepts and demonstrates little of the above; case analysis shows weaknesses in content and fails to meet most writing requirements.

1–49

Student displays no understanding of the course concepts; grade is assigned based on the severity of the weaknesses exhibited in content and the extent of the failure to meet writing requirements.

Student has not submitted a written assignment for the case.
