\nour lives. One paragraph will deal \u00a0with the Federal \u00a0Government
\nand other will deal with the impact of local government on our lives.
\nHow does it affect us? What can we change? Is it fair the way that
\ngovernment is run? All of these questions and more will be answered.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Second
\npart Students will be writing a letter to a local newspaper to voice
\ntheir opinion of an issue of importance. This issue can deal with the
\nlocal or national level and must be appropriate for a newspaper to
\npublish. Students must state why the issue is important and why it
\nneeds to be changed.\u00a0<\/p>\n

He
\nwants to do this section on pot-holes in the street and the damage it
\ncauses on vehicles.\u00a0<\/p>\n
