Finalize your grant proposal to secure funding for a neuroscience investigation. This assignment will involve integrating information on brain networks and disorders that occur as the result of dysfunction in these networks. The grant proposal will require you to identify a research question based on a thorough review of the literature related to a particular disorder\/syndrome and design a scientifically sound grant proposal using current methods of neuroscience investigation.<\/p>\n

The Grant Proposal must be six to eight double-spaced pages in length (not including Title page, References, and Appendix) and formatted according to APA style. <\/p>\n

Grant Proposal<\/strong>– The goal of this grant proposal is to examine the link between appetite and emotion as it connects to obesity.<\/p>\n

Also examining distinguishing factors such as depression, anxiety and obsessive compulsive disorder. <\/p>\n

The hypothesis that the over-consumption of food is emotionally motivated. <\/p>\n

The purpose of the research is to explore the Limbic System which consists of the, thalamus (activity, sensation, and emotion), hypothalamus (temp regulation, appetite control, endocrine function, sexual drive, and impulsive behavior), hippocampus (emotional, arousal, memory), amygdala (emotional arousal, memory).<\/p>\n
