This is the written portion of my unit test. <\/p>\n

There are three short answer questions that can be answered in 1-3 sentences.<\/p>\n

These questions are: (a)<\/strong>Describe ONE similarity between the rule of Clovis, king of the Franks, and the Emperor Charlemagne.<\/p>\n

(b)<\/strong>Describe ONE difference between the rule of Clovis, king of the Franks, and the Emperor Charlemagne.<\/span><\/p>\n

(c)<\/strong>Explain ONE reason for the difference described in (b).<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

There is also one long essay question that should be answered in 4-5 paragraphs.<\/p>\n

This question is: Develop an argument that evaluates the development and impacts of two<\/u> of the following regions\u2019 social structures during the period c. 600 B.C.E. to c. 1450 C.E.:<\/p>\n

\n
• <\/strong>India (Hindu caste system)<\/li>\n
• <\/strong>Bantu peoples in Africa<\/li>\n
• <\/strong>medieval Europe<\/li>\n
• <\/strong>civilizations in Mesoamerica and the Andes<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

  This essay should compare the social structures of two of the four regions listed above. The essay should have a clear thesis and support a clear argument. Using multiple point of views (from the two chosen regions) could be a good paragraph topic. <\/p>\n

  My paragraph structure would be: 1 – intro, 2 – explain social structure of first region, 3 – explain social structure of second region, 4 – compare the two regions and why each structure worked (or did not work) for them, 5 – closing<\/p>\n
