I’ve always felt that consciousness
\nis a realm that lies outside the brain. For example, someone in a coma
\nis not conscious, but their brain is still functioning and sending
\nsignals to the heart and lungs to continue functioning. I feel the same
\nas when we sleep, we are not conscious but our brain is still
\nfunctioning. This question really makes me wonder about the relationship
\nbetween consciousness and our brains though. Without consciousness, I
\nwouldn’t be here typing this discussion response right now. But at the
\nsame time, I can still survive without consciousness. <\/p>\n
