This presentation provides an opportunity to apply your knowledge of vices (envy, vain, glory, sloth, avarice, anger, gluttony, lust) to contemporary issues.<\/p>\n
Under the guidance of your instructor, select one of the vices to research and present.<\/p>\n
Create a 12-15 slide presentation about the selected vice that includes the following:<\/p>\n
Explanation of the vice in Scripture.<\/p>\n
Analysis of how that vice is accepted, encouraged, or overlooked in contemporary culture or church practice.<\/p>\n
Explanation of how charity, the principal virtue of Christian behavior, can be applied to breakdown the stronghold of that vice. Provide specific, concrete examples of what this looks like or might look like.<\/p>\n
In addition, create a title slide, reference slides, and slide notes that provide detailed explanation of your research and observations.<\/p>\n
