The report plan is a plan written for the professor explaining what
\nthe report will consist of. Your audience is the professor. (The report
\nplan is different than the actual report.)<\/p>\n

Create a plan that
\nidentifies what information you will need to prepare a justification
\nreport making a recommendation to an organization to implement a
\nparticular product, service, or program. The organization may have a
\nbusiness, governmental, professional, or social focus.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The
\nreport may focus on a \u201creal\u201d or \u201cmade-up\u201d recommendation, but you should
\ndirect the report to an actual organization, even if you do not plan to
\nsubmit the report.\u00a0<\/p>\n

For the report, the audience within the
\norganization will be whatever level is most appropriate to make a
\ndecision on the topic of your report.\u00a0<\/p>\n

1. Identify the recipient of the report. (To what organization will the recommendation be directed?)<\/li>\n
2. Identify the topic of the report. (What product, service, or program will you recommend?)<\/li>\n
3. Identify the purpose of the report. (What need or problem will the product, service, or program resolve?)<\/li>\n
4. Identify potential resources that will be needed for support.<\/li>\n
5. Identify methods to be used to gather information.\u00a0<\/li>\n
6. Identify
   \ncriteria to be used to evaluate the information collected. (What
   \nfactors will you consider to make your recommendation?)<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

   Your assignment must:<\/p>\n

   • Be
     \ntyped, double spaced, using Times New Roman font (size 12), with
     \none-inch margins on all sides; citations and references must follow APA
     \nor school-specific format. Check with your professor for any additional
     \ninstructions.<\/li>\n
   • Include a cover page containing the title of the
     \nassignment, the student\u2019s name, the professor\u2019s name, the course title,
     \nand the date. The cover page and the reference page are not included in
     \nthe required assignment page length.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
