The purpose of this assignment is to
\nunderstand how an individual might operate culturally within a larger
\ngroup. Select a culture within a country or a country and describe what
\nlife is like for women. This is a chance for you to be
\ncreative….rather than citing facts and statistics I want you to
\ndescribe in depth the life of a fictional subject in that culture. You can write from a female or male’s
\nperspective but you are writing about life for women in that culture.<\/p>\n
For
\nexample-How old are you? Are you married? What is daily life like? Do
\nyou work? Do you have children? Do you go to school? How do the laws,
\ntraditions, and institutions affect your experiences? What are your
\ndreams\/hopes\/aspirations? What is it like to be a woman in the country?<\/p>\n
OR
\nif you choose to be a man in the country, reflect on the status\/role of
\nwomen in your culture. You must fit your discussion within the context
\nof a real culture and their societal rules\/structure (e.g., marriage,
\nwork, laws, traditions, etc. 1300 words minimum<\/p>\n
