\n A common job found at Canadian Hospitals is\u00a0Staff Scheduler. \u00a0 The\u00a0Staff Scheduler\u00a0is responsible to ensure adequate staffing levels are maintained in clinical units of the hospital, both advance planning (scheduling) and providing coverage for unscheduled absences.\n <\/p>\n
\n Evaluate the position\u00a0Staff Scheduler\u00a0(from your perspective) using the Compensable Factors in table Tables 8.1 and then in comparison to the positions listed in Table 8.2.\n <\/p>\n
\n Step 1: \u00a0Create a table and record the points for each Compensable Factor (similar to Table 8.1 but for the position Staff Scheduler.)\u00a0 \u00a0Determine and record the total the points.Step 2: \u00a0Once you have calculated the total points, proceed to verify the position immediately above and immediately below (table 8.2), and then research salaries for the three positions.\n <\/p>\n
