Reasons like the cost of redesigning a huge system and 100% availability demanded by the system are two very common ones. This in turn initiates the need for software and design engineers to keep them up and running.<\/p>\n
Use the Internet to find jobs related to legacy systems, and describe three skills desired by employers. Find three jobs, that is, one for a programmer, one for a database administrator, and one for a computer operator.<\/p>\n
Write a paragraph for each type of job explaining the skills desired, the years of experience needed, and the specialized knowledge needed by candidates. Write a 1- to 2-page paper to include your understanding of a legacy system and summarize what you have learned. In a separate page, cite the sources in the correct APA format.<\/p>\n
