This week you will create a PowerPoint presentation and review 2 students\u2019 presentations. You will complete this assignment in 2 parts:<\/p>\n

\u25cf the posting of a thread that addresses the topic presented, and<\/p>\n

\u25cf the posting of 2 replies to classmates\u2019 thread.<\/p>\n

When addressing the topic presented this week,, you must include a minimum of 3 scholarly sources in addition to the course textbooks. Your PowerPoint presentation should be between 8 to 10 slides and use APA format. In each of your replies, you must include 2 scholarly source in addition to the course textbooks. Your 2 replies should be at least 250 words each and use APA format.<\/p>\n

Topic Presented: Describe the advantages and disadvantages of union membership. Then share why you would or would not join a union. Your presentation should be interesting and include graphics.<\/p>\n

Please cite your sources in the paper. Use APA style.<\/p>\n

At least 80% of your paper must be original content\/writing.<\/li>\n

No more than 20% of your content\/information may come from references.<\/li>\n

Use an appropriate number of references to support your position, and defend your arguments. The following are examples of primary and secondary sources that may be used, and non-credible and opinion based sources that may not be used.<\/p>\n

a) Primary sources such as government websites (United States Department of Labor Bureau of Labor Statistics<\/u><\/a>, United States Census Bureau<\/u><\/a>, The World Bank<\/u><\/a>, etc.), peer reviewed and scholarly journals in EBSCOhost (Grantham University Online Library) and Google Scholar<\/u><\/a>.<\/p>\n

b) Secondary and credible sources such as, CNN Money<\/u><\/a>, The Wall Street Journal<\/u><\/a>, trade journals, and publications in EBSCOhost (Grantham University Online Library).<\/p>\n

c) Non-credible and opinion based sources such as, Wikis, Yahoo Answers, eHow, blogs, etc. should not be used.<\/p>\n

Cite all reference material (data, dates, graphs, quotes, paraphrased statements, information, etc.) in the paper and list each source on a reference page using APA style.<\/p>\n
