Is the climate supportive or defensive? Does this align with the
\nresults of your Communication Climate Inventory? Attach your Inventory
\nresults as an appendix. (Note: This appendix requirement will likely
\nincrease your paper\u2019s Turnitin similarity score; your professor is aware
\nof this.)<\/p>\n

How does the communication climate affect motivation and organizational\/team commitment?<\/p>\n

How could you improve the communication climate in your organization, department, or team?<\/p>\n

What communication skills would you like to learn or improve on in order to create a supportive communication climate?<\/p>\n

Be sure to support your analysis with concepts and principles
\nintroduced in the background readings on communication as well as
\nconflict and teams (if appropriate). You may also incorporate outside
\nresearch to supplement the background material. Cite all sources
\nproperly.<\/p>\n

SLP Assignment Expectations <\/em>

Your paper will be evaluated using the criteria as stated in the SLP rubric. The following is a review of the rubric criteria:<\/em>

Assignment-Driven<\/strong>: Does the paper fully address all
\naspects of the assignment? Is the assignment addressed accurately and
\nprecisely using sound logic? Does the paper meet minimum length
\nrequirements?
<\/strong><\/p>\n

Critical Thinking<\/strong>: Does the paper demonstrate
\ngraduate-level analysis, in which information derived from multiple
\nsources, expert opinions, and assumptions has been critically evaluated
\nand synthesized in the formulation of a logical set of conclusions? Does
\nthe paper address the topic with sufficient depth of discussion and
\nanalysis?
<\/strong><\/p>\n

Business Writing<\/strong>: Is the essay logical, well
\norganized and well written? Are the grammar, spelling, and vocabulary
\nappropriate for graduate-level work? Are section headings included? Are
\nparaphrasing and synthesis of concepts the primary means of responding,
\nor is justification\/support instead conveyed through excessive use of
\ndirect quotations?
<\/strong><\/p>\n

Effective Use of Information<\/strong>: Does the submission
\ndemonstrate that the student has read, understood and can apply the
\nbackground materials for the module? If required, has the student
\ndemonstrated effective research, as evidenced by student\u2019s use of
\nrelevant and quality (library?) sources? Do additional sources used
\nprovide strong support for conclusions drawn, and do they help in
\nshaping the overall paper?

Citing Sources<\/strong>: Does the student demonstrate
\nunderstanding of APA Style of referencing, by inclusion of proper
\ncitations (for paraphrased text and direct quotations) as appropriate?
\nHave all sources (e.g., references used from the Background page, the
\nassignment readings, and outside research) been included, and are these
\nproperly cited? Have all sources cited in the paper been included on the
