\nformulate, implement, and evaluate strategies intentionally and

\nmanagement allows an organization to make effective decisions,
\nexecute those decisions efficiently, and take corrective action. The
\nkey to effective strategy evaluation is the integration of intuition
\nand analysis. Strategic management is first a people process and a
\nmechanism for fostering organizational communication. The planning
\nprocess is more important than the written plan. In fact, the written
\nplan is only a snapshot and because of the rapid rate of change,

Strategic management also includes formulating, implementing, and

\nestablishment of strategies. Implementation includes the creation of
\nshort-term objectives and allocation of resources to achieve strategies.
\nEvaluation reviews performance and recommends corrective action.
\nThere are many benefits to strategic planning, including financial and
\ncompetitive sustainability in a global market. Globalization,
\ne-commerce, and attention to the environment have become important
\nstrategic concerns. Engaging employees in the strategic management
\nprocess can facilitate the implementation of a well-planned strategy and
