For your discussion, I am including below links to news article and video profiling Infosys’ announcement of its plans to hire US workers for jobs that normally got outsourced to India in the past. For years, American companies have been saving money by ‘offshoring’ jobs. Salaries have risen in places like South Asia, making outsourcing there less of a bargain. Infosys has made the decision to hire 10,000 workers in the U.S. over the next 2 years, starting with centers in Indiana and North Carolina. Provide your opinion on what your learned from it.
