Instructions:

  1. Pick an article on a controversy in food/contains an opinion on something to do with the food industry or food science that is not from an academic source
  2. Decide whether you agree or disagree with the article
  3. Write why you support your stance with a minimum of 3 academic sources written in the past 10 years and ensure they are properly cited using Journal of Food Science style. You must also cite the article you are critiquing at the end and in-text when referring to it. Counter or support a minimum of 3 points the original article makes with these academic sources.

  • Citations follow Journal of Food Science style and are used in-text each time they are referred to
