It is true that there is much similarity amongst both humanistic and existential psychology (Schneider, Pierson, & Bugental, 2015). God ordained man here on earth from the beginning. Research shows that God created the Bible Adam (Eloise, 2016). According to the Bible:

Then God said, “Let Us (Father, Son, Holy Spirit) make man in Our image, according to Our likeness [not physical, but a spiritual personality and moral likeness]; and let them have complete authority over the fish of the sea, the birds of the air, the cattle, and over the entire earth, and over everything that creeps and crawls on the earth.” (Genesis 1:26, Amplified Bible)

It is each person’s responsibility to take up his rightful place in Christ. This is done when the Christian knows his true identity in Christ and walks it out. By knowing this true identity, a person will know what is actually right and wrong in life. However, it is up to the individual to do what is right which pleases God since He did not create humans as robots. The Bible says, “So any person who knows what is right to do but does not do it, to him it is sin” (James 4:17).
